West MI Parents Network

What a lot of fun this was!  If you missed GRATC this weekend, you have another chance!  The tent will be up and we will be ready to make art all next weekend from 12-5.  Thanks to Mom Colored Glasses, GRKids, Big Binder, Moms Like Me and The Diaper Diaries for letting West MI Parents Network be a partner!

With a pool in our yard and a nearby lake, we have decided this is the way to go.  I will post updates once we begin, but please share any experiences you have had.

I want to thank all of the members who came to Tuesday's Meijer Gardens Butterflies are Blooming Exhibit and today's Gymboree play date.  It was great to meet all of you and see your adorable kids having fun.  Gymboree has asked if we would like to make the play date a monthly thing.  I am wondering what members think?  I also would appreciate suggestions from all of you about future activities that you would like to see planned

Hi Everyone-

We were just at the Gardens celebrating my daughters 2nd birthday with her grandparents!  (Thanks again, Grandma and Grandpa for the amazing birthday gift!)  Anyway, the gardens are beautiful and the Jim Dine sculpture exhibit is actually really fun for kids -- something I did not expect, but the butterflies are AMAZING!  So beautiful and active.  A real delight to watch.  Hopefully on Tuesday we will have better weather than we had today-- yikes!

Hello Everyone-

My husband, Matt, and I have recently assumed co-director responsibilities since Erica has moved west.  We are excited about this as we have a daughter who will be 2 at the end of this month (Happy Birthday Sian-Auden!) and we have finally smartened up and realized that she clearly needs more time with kids vs. spending so much time with adults. 

We have been slowly building in quality activities that we think and hope you and your kids will enjoy.   Many of the favorites are back and confirmed, so please check back often, and choose those that most interest you.  We also welcome your wise suggestions!
